Oh, HELL Yeah

I just realized I probably shouldn't post any artist's comments for my work. It might be better that I just showed what I managed to draw and let the audience decide whether it sucks or not without me trying to explain myself. Well, then again, I like rambling about my work and other stuff so... here goes:

This is Emerson Cod from the kind of short-lived (only two seasons) TV-series Pushing Daisies. He's the snarky, cynical and knitting private investigator who likes money. And he's awesome. The rest of the show was awesome too and I'm so dissappointed it was cancelled!!! I WANT SEASON 3!

So, anyway, I realized while drawing this that my colour pencils are kind of racist. I had really hard time in getting any of the colours form a somewhat natural combination for Emerson's skin. That combined with my suckiness when it comes to drawing people from the front made this rather painful at times. Definitely not my best work, but hey, he has a flower!

I'll probably make a new folder called "Cool Guys with Flowers" one of these days...

Oh, and if you're wondering about the title, Emerson's catchphrase was
"Oh, HELL no!" and he did use the variant in the title at least once.
